Hi,

Sorry for the late response.

The include folder is usually named "inc" (not the whole "include" or "includes" word) and contains third party PHP libraries and PHP classes such as LessPHP mentioned in this post, as well as pages which are required to be included in each page in the app such as navigation menu and header.php & footer.php (although you can also place these two files - header and footer - in the root of your app).

You can place this folder wherever you like. However, the most common location for this folder is in the root of your app.

Thanks for letting me know. Although I still use your plugin (with the latest version), I rarely use Screen Options in WordPress. Therefore, I didn't notice this "hidden" feature until I saw your comment.

Hope all is well.

I just stumbled across this post from 2011, which is now outdated. AIOSEO Pack columns can now be hidden via the Screen Options menu at the top of the All Posts list view page in the WordPress Dashboard admin.

I've posted the screenshot to this comment.

Your post, while a great resource at the time, might now confuse developers and users who don't realize that show/hide is now implemented in the admin by default.

Can you please either remove this post as it's outdated, or at least update the post to reflect that your workaround is no longer necessary. We would sincerely appreciate it.

Why don't you try to place the styles in the head of individual pages using wp_head action instead of using specific pageIDs in the external stylesheet?

Or you can exclude custom-css.php from caching through WP Super Cache settings. I used WP Total Cache before and there is an excludes setting. It should be the same with Super Cache.

Anyway, dynamic generated CSS file using PHP is generally a bad practice.

The best way, as I discussed above, is not to use a dynamic stylesheet. If you must, the fourth argument in wp_enqueue_style function (the version number of stylesheet) might prevent the reload, assuming that your stylesheet doesn't change often. Robby, your explanation of the WP make_clickable functions are very helpful. I inserted them into a test theme and they work as you described them.

Problem: My goal is to make clickable links for URLs that appear inside footnotes in a WordPress derivative called PressBooks. Unfortunately, all footnotes are treated as shortcodes, like this:

Main text. [footnote]Here is the footnote, with link http://www.google.com.[/footnote]
```
Can you think of a way to rewrite the function to allow making clickable links inside these footnote shortcodes, but to avoid doing so with other shortcodes (such as embedded iframes)?

Hi,

I don't know how I opened the branch at the time since this post is 4 years old. And I have no idea Bluefish has Mac version. Thanks for the tip.

Anyway, the way you open a branch is to left click the arrow located on the left side of the branch name (the name for the imported snippets). Double click on the branch name doesn't seem to work.

Let me know if this works for you or if you already tried this method.

I'm using mac. I can't open the snippets that I've already imported in the bluefish editor. I just have them but can't open them and play around with them, I am a newbie to PHP. Any help would be very appreciated!
